This course is suitable for anyone that wants to get onto a GP ST programme, whether you applied and did not secure a rotation in 2008, or are applying for the first time in 2009. Please note that the recruitment to GP Specialty training is VERY different to all other specialities.

The Course Director and main speaker is Dr Mahibur Rahman, an expert in the GP Recruitment process. He is a GP and Consultant in Medical Education, and has written and taught extensively on Getting into GP Training.

We have helped unemployed doctors, SHOs, consultants, staff grades and F2 doctors get shortlisted and selected for GP training. The latest round of applications (2009) has been another successful one for our delegates, with success in EVERY deanery in the UK.

"I would like you to share my joy receiving the GPST offer in my 1st choice deanery & scheme. I went to yours Stage 1-4 course in Cardiff and used your online courses for Stages 2 and 3 - these were all very useful. Keep up the good work"

"I attended one of you GP ST selection days in Birmingham earlier on in the year. I found it very informative, and helped reduce a lot of uncertainty. I've now been offered an ST1 appointment in my first choice deanery (Eastern). Many thanks for your help, I would have no hesitation in recommending your course."

"I am currently a run-through surgical trainee in the Oxford deanery, who was keen to pursue a change of career direction and become a GP. I attended your excellent 'Getting into GP training' course in Birmingham prior to applying for a GP training rotation within the Eastern deanery.

I have just been informed that I have been successful in getting a place on my first choice training scheme in Essex, within the Eastern Deanery, to commence in August. I am absolutely over the moon and wanted to thank you for the part you played in helping me to prepare properly for the assessments. I feel now that I have a future to look forward to with new challenges ahead, much closer to family and friends."

Feedback from our latest courses:

"Packed full of helpful information taught in an effective manner. Dr Rahman and his team were very professional and sincere. Good venue with plenty of refreshments to keep energy levels going during a pretty intensive day. Would definitely recommend to anyone applying for GP - brilliant to cover all stages in one day."

"Extremely well organised and enthusiastically presented. It has really given me confidence for the application process. It was interactive and kept my interest even though it was a long day."
